Coffee making, Place making.

Following Sotheby’s move-in at Landmark’s Chater House, nodi, the café that is beloved by the community, is moved to the G/F after 8 years at Chater House, with a new design by our team. The new design embraces an open and inviting spatial experience that represents nodi’s vision of “coffee connects people.” The cafe features soft geometries and off-white palettes to curate a light-filled and relaxing ambience, while contouring the space in nodi’s renewed branding colors.

The café is open and transparent, welcoming customers to interact with baristas easily and to enjoy the performance of coffee making. There are two types of seating offering various levels of privacy. The curvilinear tables and seats along the wall are more open and sociable, while the upholstered banquette seating facing away from the lobby provides a calm moment with semi-privacy.

nodi also features local artists’ work. The inaugural exhibition is local photography artist Jeff Tung’s work of surrounding urban landscape in Central, presented in bespoke lens that augments Jeff’s illusionary pictures. A poetic garden designed by local florist Flowerbed separates the café from the hustle and bustle of the street, offering a moment of pause that is much needed, especially during the rush hour in Hong Kong’s Central district.
